I'm one of those annoying "give it all a try" types, but I mainly collect WW2 in 20mm and a little in 6mm but also have a small BFG fleet built up from various spare parts and scratch built bits. I am working on a 1:300th scale Tudor battle fleet for the French and English (no Armada here!) I do some model making in 1:35th and 1:15th scale as well.

Duration
As an example, I can master a simple artillery piece like an iG18 in 1:76th scale in about a day and a bit. A 20mm Rifle can be whittled in about 70 minutes depending on the level of detail.
Availability
I have a reasobale sized waiting list as I have many long term clients; and while I like the challenge of a new customer and what they desire having mastered, I need to keep my old customers happy.
